JEE Main College Predictor
Enter your JEE Main marks, percentile or rank. See the NITs, IIITs and government-funded institutes you are likely to get, branch by branch, with your category, home state and seat type counted.
How the prediction is made
- 1Marks become a percentile and a rank on the 2025 JEE Main marks-vs-percentile pattern, about 14.75 lakh candidates. A percentile becomes a rank the same way.
- 2Your rank is matched to every NIT, IIIT and GFTI seat pool you can sit in: All India, home state or other state, your category, and girls-only seats.
- 3Each seat is compared with its JoSAA 2025 round 6 closing rank. Up to 80% of the closing rank is Likely, up to 100% is Maybe, up to 120% is Tough.
The top 3 are picked from the seats you are likely or may get, on campus (NIRF teaching and resources), placements (NIRF graduation outcomes) and recognition (NIRF perception and how early the seats fill).
Questions
Which colleges does this cover?
Every NIT, IIIT and GFTI seat in JoSAA: All India, home state and other state quotas, every category, and girls-only seats. IIT seats need a JEE Advanced rank, so they have their own predictor.
How accurate is it?
It compares your rank with last year’s closing ranks, which move a little every year, and marks are turned into a rank on last year’s pattern, which can be 10 marks off for any one shift. Treat Likely, Maybe and Tough as a guide, not a promise.
Why does my Class 12 state matter?
Most NITs keep half their seats for students from their own state, and those seats often close at a much higher rank. Pick your state to see them.
Do I need to sign up?
No. Your rank, the top 3 and the first colleges in reach are free without a login. The full list, with every branch and seat type, is free in the Mylaksh app after you log in with your phone number.
